Field Trip

Don't forget, we will be traveling to the Capitol on Thursday, April 26th. We will be leaving the
school promptly at 7:30am. Don't be late- we cannot wait! We should be arriving back at school between 3:00-3:30pm.
 Don't forget to send your $10 in a zip lock bag with your name on the bag for your lunch money.

TEST TIME IS HERE!

 Send your child with at least 2 sharpened #2 pencils

Please help your child be successful during test week!

Each student should:

1) Do his/her best each day.

2) Be at school on time each day. 

*Remember- "late after eight"

3) Get plenty of rest each night.
4) Eat breakfast at home or at school each day.

If your child follows these simple steps, they could earn a trip to watch a Baron's Baseball game on May 2nd.

Spring Break

Spring Break begins Monday! Have fun and be safe.

We will be working extra hard for the next two weeks preparing and reviewing for our ARMT testing.
Testing dates for ARMT are as follows:
April 16th (Monday) Reading Part 1
April 17th (Tuesday) Reading Part 2
April 18th (Wednesday) Math all parts
Remeber to get plenty of rest and get ready to work, work, work!

Special Program

Today, we had some visitors from AIDB. They taught us some "Deaf Facts" such as the American Sign Language is not used all across the world. England has British Sign Language.

They also invited us,as well as all of you to their Deaf Awareness Day, which is tomorrow, March 15th from 3-7pm. This event will take place at AIDB Talladega Regional Center. For more information, you may contact Ken Irving at 256-761-3370. This is event is free and fun for the entire family. There will be games, food, and prizes.
